Course Description

This course supports healthcare staff in recognising the early signs of patient deterioration, including both clinical and non-clinical indicators. Delegates will gain confidence in identifying "soft signs" of decline, understanding vital sign parameters, and using structured tools such as NEWS2 and SBARD for assessment and communication. The course also includes practical skills training in observation techniques and case-based discussion. Suitable for support workers, carers, and healthcare professionals in any care setting.
