Stroke is the leading cause of severe disability in the UK. The aftermath can be very challenging and in many cases family suffer a real sense of loss. This course is suited to both health and care staff wishing to have a greater understanding of stroke, causes and its effects.
A stroke occurs approximately every 3 minutes. It is the largest cause of complex disability. – Stroke Association
