Pressure ulcers occur when a localised area of skin and underlying tissue becomes damaged due to pressure, friction, or shear. Most sores can be prevented. Attending delegates will gain a thorough understanding of the subject to help them minimise opportunity for ulcer formation and optimise any required treatment for the persons in their care.
