Stoma Care Awareness
This half-day awareness course provides an introduction to stoma care for those working in health and social care settings. It aims to increase understanding of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, reasons for stoma formation, and how to support individuals living with a stoma. Delegates will gain practical insight into caring for a stoma, recognising dietary considerations, and managing common complications, enabling them to offer compassionate and knowledgeable support.
